Water Based Lacquer for Braizilian Walnut Floors

Please give me some advice. I hired a flooring company to scrape my Brazilian walnut floor twice. The first time the lacquer took a week to dry and the floor looked ugly. The second time had the same results. Maybe there is something wrong with the wood?

It seems to me that the wood is all right. You did not describe what kind of lacquer was used-but I think that was polyurethane. It takes longer to dry, and causes yellowing to occur to the wood. Unfortunately you have to scrape again and I suggest three coats of a water based lacquer.
